Not all headsets will work well with your new VoIP phone. Modern headsets have built-in functions for reducing echo and noise that will give you superior sound quality. Additionally, wireless headsets can take advantage of a special connector to the phone that allows you to answer a call by pushing a button on the headset (this replaces a mechanical lever that would physically pick-up the handset).
