Voice over IP (VoIP)
Service Description
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is the delivery of voice communications over data networks like the Internet. See What is VoIP? and other Frequently Asked Questions.
Colorado State University's next generation communication project is a combination of services that includes voice, voice conferencing, voice mail, video conferencing, instant messaging, desktop sharing and whiteboarding.
The project formally began in 2007 with a small deployment of phones within the ACNS department, and has grown to several hundred phones here on main campus and remote offices in Denver and Sterling.
